Resident/Non-Resident Permit - Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
Resident Parking permits are available only to Town of The Blue Mountains residents for designated municipally owned parking locations.
Proof required: You must upload proof of residency within the Town of The Blue Mountains (tax bill, driver’s licence, lease agreement) as well as the vehicle(s) ownership/registration. Please visit https://www.thebluemountains.ca/resident-services/parking-public-transit for complete list of accepted proof of residency documents.
How to Add Vehicles & Resident Permits:
- Log in or sign up using your email and Townof the Blue Mountains address.
- On the "permits" tab, click the ‘add permit’ button,and then the ‘add vehicle’ button and fill out the requiredvehicle information on this form and click ‘save’. If you are registering multiple vehicles, repeat this step for each vehicle.
- Select your vehicles to permit, then under ‘vehicle registration’ youare required to attach a photo or scan of the vehicle(s)ownership(s)/registration(s)
- Under ‘additional proof required’ you are required to add your proof ofresidency (drivers license, tax bill, utility bill etc.)
- Once the vehicles are selected and the attachments have been added, click ‘addto cart’
- View the terms and select the ‘accept terms’ box and then click ‘buy’
- A ‘confirm payment’ popup will appear, click ‘yes’ (note: there is no chargefor a resident parking permit)
For non-resident registrations, please select the “Non-resident” profiletype and use your neighboring municipality address when creating your account.Non-resident permits for up to 2 vehicles can be purchased for the calendar year for $100 + HST. This fee can be paid online by adding a credit card on to your account.
Please note that vehicle parking permits gothrough a manual approval before validation, this process can take up to 72hours.
When you have applied for a permit, you will receive an email stating that theTown of The Blue Mountains is processing your permit request. When the permitis reviewed, you will receive an email stating that your permit is approved and then you can park for free in paid municipal lots.
If you have not received an email confirming your permit has been approved, you cannot park for free in municipal lots.
